Hey there! Let me tell you a bit about myself.  I am a twenty three year old alumni of The University of North Alabama. I have a Bachelors of Science in Entertainment Business Management and a minor in Business Administration.  I purchased my first camera on a whim, and it was love at first shutter click. Soon after beginning my journey with my camera, I was presented with an opportunity that changed my life. This opportunity led to obtaining an internship with Higher Lyfe Magazine, an online lifestyle magazine. I work as a photographer and columnsit for Higher Lyfe, photographing many shows and interviewing artists for public review on the magazine's website. This inspired me to do more with my camera.

      The elation I felt the first time I received a compliment on a photo I had taken confirmed that I wanted to do more with my photography than just persue it as a hobby; it's far more than that. I wanted to show people what their lives look like to me, through my eyes. Shortly thereafter, I began my business, Katptured Photography. I was able to incorporate my hobby and my education inmy career once i started touring. I love what I do. 

       The most gratifying experience for me is seeing the expressions on the faces of my clients viewing their photos for the first time. Knowing that I am able to capture a moment, a breath, a fraction of time the way that I see it right then is the reason I began this hobby and the reason it remains my most cherished.  How I'm able to allow my clients to have - to physically hold - their moments forever; that is what means the most to me.
